{going to the west} round #2 {the grand canyon}
the Grand Canyon. It's pretty marvelous. I don't think you can take a bad photo of the thing.
We hiked to the point at sunrise and awaited the new day to officially begin. It was awesome to see.
{going to the west} round #1
the open road. the great outdoors. the adventure west. Oh what a journey this has been thus far. Missouri -> Oklahoma -> Amarillo -> Stayed at a friend's house in amarillo that is owned by the grandparents. Lots of trinkets and knick-knacks that represented their Texas heritage.
Then we made our way towards Flagstaff Arizona where we slept in our car in a parking lot. mm. fun times.
man i met at a gas station:
stopped at a gas station and there was a random school bus full of kids that were just hanging out there, so I asked to take their photo.
Stray dogs. everywhere.
the infamous Ty Johnson
good company during the long journey:
I'll post round #2 tonight as well, just a little later on.

{married} matt & katie
So, Matt & Katie, they got married at the Hilton Convention Center, and it was a fun fun wedding. Matt is a comedian, stage performer, and extraordinary man with a lot of talent, and his wife Katie is an encourager, a lover, and wonderful woman to be around. Together they make an awesome couple that celebrate life unlike most people that you see.
Also, fun fact- Matt gets the award for most diverse amount of facial expressions I have ever seen one man make. ever.

{modeling} at the abandoned theme park
so, a crazy band of photographers and models and videographers and fun makes for a great time. Oh, and, somehow we got permission to go into a theme park so it made for even more goodness. Boom:
HEY HEY HEY. Before you go, leave a comment. I changed it to where it should be more easy to leave one. Then I'll know if there are more of you out there. Tell me which one is your favorite.

{married in the courthouse} chad & gin
So here's the skinny: Chad and Gin. They are pretty freakin awesome. While going to school, I worked in the clay studio with these two characters and we had some great memories together. Gin, I would describe, as the hip lady who takes life easy and knows about lots of music before it hits the scene, and Chad as the lumberjack, applejuice drinking, he-man who doesn't take no crap, from nobody {cool runnings reference}. So- they got married in court, because they are cool like that, and we were there for literally 5 minutes, and then it was done. I ran around them taking photos; and I'm sure the judge didn't care for it. But, it was fun, and then we went and ate in downtown springfield at Lili's and walked around for a spell and took some photos. Great times.
